Who we are and what this policy covers
FFC Siding Construction LLC, doing business as FFC Siding Solutions (“FFC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), is a residential siding contractor established in 2018 that serves Fayetteville, North Carolina, and the surrounding communities.
This policy applies to the personal information we collect through this website, by phone, text message and email, and in person when we visit your property for an estimate or a project. It does not apply to other companies’ websites or apps, even when we link to them.
Our terms and conditions explain the rules for using this website and requesting an estimate.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your first and last name, phone number and email address.
- Property details: the address where the work would be done, the type of property, the number of stories and its current exterior.
- Project details: the work you are interested in, any damage you know about, your timeline, when you are available for a visit, whether you make decisions about the property, whether you are getting other estimates, and how you plan to pay, including any interest in financing or an insurance claim.
- Photos and videos of your home, if you choose to send them.
- What you tell us in calls, text messages, emails and conversations with our team.
- If you hire us: your estimate, contract, changes to the work, invoices, payment records and warranty information.
- If your project involves an insurance claim and you choose to share it: your insurance company, claim number, adjuster’s contact details and claim documents.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our systems receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the date and time of your visit and the website that sent you here. We use it to run the site, keep it secure and protect our forms from spam and abuse.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics also collects information about how the site is used, as explained in “Cookies and analytics”.
Information from other people
Sometimes we receive information about you from others, for example when a family member, property manager, real estate agent or insurance adjuster contacts us about your property, or when someone recommends us to you.
Information we do not ask for
We never ask for credit card, bank account or Social Security numbers, or copies of identity documents, through this website. Please do not include them in the form, in photos or in videos.
We remove hidden data, such as location, from photos you upload through the estimate form. Videos are kept as you send them and may include recording or location data, so please review them before uploading and avoid showing other people or sensitive information.
How we use your information
- to answer your request, contact you and schedule your on-site estimate;
- to prepare your estimate and talk with you about materials, options and price;
- to carry out, invoice and follow up on the work you hire us to do, including warranty service;
- to order materials for your project and, when needed, register a manufacturer’s warranty;
- to send you messages about your request, your appointment and your project;
- to keep records of our work, our accounting and our taxes;
- to protect this website, our customers and our business from spam, fraud and abuse;
- to understand how the website is used and improve it, if you allow analytics;
- to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Calls, text messages and email
When you give us your phone number, for example in the estimate form, you agree that FFC may call you and send you text messages at that number about your estimate request, your appointment and your project. The messages come from our team and may include appointment confirmations and reminders, questions about your project, schedule updates and follow-up after your estimate or project.
- Message frequency varies with your request and your project.
- Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
- To stop receiving texts, reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message, or tell us in any other reasonable way. We will stop as soon as we can, and always within the time the law allows.
- For help, reply HELP or call (910) 584-0371.
- Agreeing to receive calls and texts is not a condition of hiring us. If you prefer, we will contact you only by phone or only by email.
- Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
We will not share your mobile phone number, or your consent to receive text messages, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information about your text-message consent is never shared with third parties, except with companies that deliver our messages for us.
If you change or give up your phone number, please tell us, so that we do not text someone else.
We use email to send you your estimate, documents and answers to your questions. We do not add you to marketing email lists.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only in these cases:
- with our team and the people who work on your project for FFC, only as needed to prepare your estimate or do the work;
- with companies that help us run this website and our business, such as website hosting, secure data storage, email delivery, spam protection, maps and, if you allow it, analytics. They may use the information only to provide their services to us;
- with material suppliers and manufacturers, when needed to order materials for your project or register a product warranty;
- with your insurance company, your lender, your property manager or anyone else you ask us to work with or send documents to;
- with authorities, courts or others when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our team, the public or FFC;
- with a buyer or successor if our business is sold, merged or reorganized, who must continue to protect your information as this policy describes.
We may also share information that does not identify you, such as the number of estimate requests we receive in a month.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site works without optional cookies, and we do not use advertising cookies.
- Necessary: small settings saved in your browser, such as your privacy choice, and the security checks that protect our forms.
- Security: Cloudflare Turnstile checks estimate requests for automated abuse. Cloudflare receives the technical signals needed for that check, but not what you type in the form.
- Analytics, only if you choose “Allow analytics”: Google Analytics counts visits and a few actions, such as tapping our phone number or starting the estimate form. It does not receive your name, phone, email, address or anything you write in the form, and Google’s advertising features and signals stay turned off.
- Maps: the map on our site is provided by Google Maps. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies under the Google Privacy Policy.
You can change your analytics choice at any time with “Privacy choices” at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as your choice to decline analytics. Because analytics stays off until you allow it and we do not sell information or use it for advertising, we do not otherwise respond to “Do Not Track” signals, for which there is no common standard.
How long we keep information
Estimate requests sent through this website, and their photos or videos, are scheduled for deletion from our website systems about 90 days after we receive them. Files from a form that is never sent are scheduled for deletion after about a day. These schedules depend on routine maintenance running successfully.
If you hire us, we keep your project records, such as the estimate, contract, invoices, photos of the work and warranty information, for as long as we need them for the work, warranty service, our accounting and taxes, and our legal obligations.
We keep call notes, texts and emails only as long as they are useful for your request, your project or our records. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
How we protect information
This website uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). Photos and videos you send are stored privately and are not published on our website or social media without your permission. Access is limited to FFC team members and service providers who need it to handle your request and operate these systems.
No website, phone or storage system is completely secure, so please do not send payment details or identity documents through the form. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you, and the authorities when required, as North Carolina law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you text messages or emails;
- contact you only by phone, text or email, as you prefer.
To make a request, call or text (910) 584-0371.
We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, for example by asking you to confirm details you gave us. If someone asks on your behalf, we may ask for proof that you authorized them.
We will answer within 45 days. If we cannot do everything you ask, for example because we must keep a contract or an invoice for legal or accounting reasons, we will tell you why. We will never charge you or treat you differently for making a request.
Depending on where you live, the law of your state may give you other privacy rights. We will honor them as that law requires.
Children’s privacy
Our services are for property owners and adults planning work on a home. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites and where information is kept
Our site links to Google (reviews and maps) and Instagram. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.
FFC serves homeowners in North Carolina. Our website and the service providers we use operate mainly in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, the tools we use or the law change. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version. If we make an important change to how we use information we already have, we will point it out on this page before the change takes effect.
